Manufacturing Manager Position Summary 

The Molding Manufacturing Manager will be responsible for providing operational leadership to ensure business objectives are achieved through operational excellence and a culture of teamwork and accountability.  Areas of responsibility will include Injection Molding Production.


Manufacturing Manager Duties and Responsibilities 


  • Drive OEE improvements in the High-Volume Injection Molding Department
  • Hire, develop and mentor an organization of high performing talent across a 24/7 operation
  • Lead the Operational Excellence initiatives for the molding department and achieve target performance levels in the areas of safety, quality, delivery, and cost
  • Interact with key customers and suppliers to build and maintain business relationships
  • Ensure plant operates effectively to meet/exceed customer and regulatory requirements
  • Work with plant leadership to coordinate scheduling and resources to meet delivery expectations
  • Maintain an environment and culture that optimizes safety and preserves the well-being of all employees
  • Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements
  • Partner with other business segments:  Human Resources, Sales/Marketing, Customer Service, Planning, Engineering, Tooling, Quality, Shipping/Receiving and Finance
  • Understand customer needs and the core business markets we serve

Manufacturing Manager Requirements  

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • 5 years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Plastic Injection Molding Manufacturing concepts and principles, lean manufacturing
  • Medical Device and Cleanroom Experience
